He's in the 8th grade, and some kids are having this party on new years and they're going to steal their parents beer and go get drunk in the basement. He states that he thinks drinking is retarded and he doesn't know if he should tell on them or if he should let it go

Christ..I remember being his age and being all goody two shoes too. Then I grew up and realized that narcing and the D.A.R.E. bullshit is a bunch of government propaganda. It's all about personal choices. You can't force anyone to be drug/alcohol/tobacco free, especially by telling on them and alienating them.

I do feel bad that everyone is laughing at this kid. He's just a kid, in 8th grade, who put up some stupid shit on the interwebz. I think that what's really troubling is the responses he's gotten, and I for sure hope he's not gotten shit at school. In a strange way, I really hope that kid doesn't change at all.
